YOGA & BHAGAVAD GITA SHIBIRAS
Aigiri Foundation has taken up a truly meaningful initiative by organizing Bhagavad Gita Shibiras and Yoga Camps for students during their summer holidays.
In today's fast-paced world, education is not only about academics, marks, and career growth — it is equally important to nurture good values, discipline, compassion, responsibility, patience, self-confidence, and the right approach to life.
Bhagavad Gita Shibira
The Bhagavad Gita is a timeless source of wisdom that teaches us how to face challenges with courage, stay focused on our responsibilities, control our emotions, and maintain a positive, balanced mindset. Introducing these teachings to children at a young age helps them build strong character and a deeper understanding of life — instilling values of honesty, humility, and inner strength that stay with them for a lifetime.
Yoga Shibira – Building a Healthy Body & Peaceful Mind
Aigiri Foundation has undertaken another meaningful initiative by organizing Yoga Shibiras for students and members of the community, promoting the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, discipline, and a balanced lifestyle.
In today's fast-paced world, children and young people are spending increasing amounts of time with technology and less time focusing on their physical and mental well-being. Introducing them to yoga at an early age helps develop better concentration, flexibility, body awareness, discipline, and mindfulness.
The Yoga Shibira gives participants the opportunity to learn basic yoga practices, breathing techniques, stretching, and relaxation exercises under proper guidance.
Beyond physical exercise, yoga teaches a deeper lesson — the connection between body, mind, and inner peace. Regular practice encourages a healthier routine and helps individuals approach everyday challenges with greater calmness and awareness.
Initiatives like these are especially valuable for students, as they combine health, discipline, concentration, and positive habits in one engaging experience.
Making Summer Meaningful
Instead of spending the entire vacation on entertainment and technology alone, students get the opportunity to learn, reflect, interact, and grow as responsible, well-rounded individuals — building a strong foundation of knowledge, values, culture, discipline, and humanity that will guide them well into the future.
